Our trailer guy is the best in the business and I say that because he constantly turns out fantastic book trailers for my clients. M.M. Bennetts' Of Honest Fame book trailer is his latest and I'd love to share it with you:
This particular video took approximately six revisions because we wanted to make sure it was historically accurate. When you're dealing with historical fiction books, the details have to be exactly on the money because you're going to have that one person out there who will say something. The clothing for the time period isn't accurate, the buildings weren't there in that particular time of history, or the setting isn't just right. I believe we have captured what M.M. wanted. In fact, after seeing the final product, she said, "Even though it is very early in the morning and not at all what I would normally do early in the morning, I am doing the wulie wulie dance of joy. That is just perfect! Delicious. Gripping. Superlative. I am so utterly...well, I have a crush on it, frankly. And I may have to watch it a dozen more times while gazing adoringly at it just to get my morning fix...Thank you so very much. Wow."
And that's why I get out of the bed in the morning. ;o)
